My son is a coach and here is what he said. They played 2 games there so they will have to miss 2 games at GC. This rule was changed last year.

I am sure that Coach Ray and the other coaches can handle the situation. The young man that took over the QB duties was a starter at another skill position. He did an outstanding job. I am sure his talents will still be used to help the team. Does anyone know the situation with the Velma Jackson player tht went to Hartfield for two weeks? Did he sit out any games when he went back to Velma? This was last year.

The brackets are not that hard to understand 1A,5A,6A have same brackets. 2 through 4A have same bracket. 1st round 1seed and 4 seed are matched up, 2 and 3 seed are matched up. These games would be at 1 and 2 seed fields. Second round would have a 1 and 4 winner against an 2 and 3 winner from another region. Second round through North/ South home games are determined by number of away and home games. Ex. If a 4 seed beat a 1seed and the 2 seed won then the 4 seed would get the home game. Once you reach the North/South matchup the higher seed hosts, if both are the same seed then this year the higher region number would host. This was changed this way because a few years ago two teams from the same region played. The higher seed had played more home games so the lower seed team got to be home. This was not fair and was changed

Enterprise has 2 losses. If Morton wins out they are 1. Union would be 2, Clarkdale would be 3 and Enterprise 4. Morton and Union would have 1 district loss and Clarkdale and Enterprise 2 losses. The two 1 loss teams go to head up the two 2 loss teams go head up. If Morton beats Union they are 1, Union 2. Clarkdale beat Enterprise so they would be 3, Enterprise 4.

If Morton and Clsrkdale win out, then Morton would be #1, Clarkdale #2, Union #3 and Enterprise #4.

Morton is 2-1.Lost to Enterprise, beat Clarkdale and SE Lauderdale. Have Forest and Union left. If they win out will be #1.

Enterprise sounds a lot like a coach who was at a rival school in our conference. We would meet at the end of the season and each coach would recommend plays for all conference. This team was really good and had won the conference. My school had played them real tough but lost the game. This coach had the luxury of having an offensive and defensive team. He nominated all 22 of his starters for all conference. We had an old school assisistant coach who spoke what was on his mind. His comment to the other team's coach was damn we must have been playing in another league.
