    I really truly thought I would make this one. I was supposed to leave last night, I missed my flight. So I've pondered a 6hr 47min drive all morning. As much as I love Hattiesburg and the brown jug game I'm saving the drive for the south state championship game.

    I think it was the right call. I don’t think Magee would’ve scored in 100 quarters so go ahead and aim for OT. In the end, it did work out and we ended up in position to tie it

    Gautier has never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs before. If they do that, they will make history as the first Gautier football team to get to the 3rd round. That would be a huge monkey off of Gautier's back right there. Let's hope and pray they'll have a better officiating crew if things get that far with both teams.

    If they bring their officials with them, then yes they can have another good ballgame against us. I think Picayune will learn from this game and make the necessary adjustments to win a little bit more comfortably if they were to meet again.
