Hey if we beat Laurel 55-14, I’ll take that every day of every year for the next 5,000 years.  I also don’t see Jefferson Davis County beating Hazlehurst by just one point.  I think they’ll have a bigger cushion than that.  I also don’t see Hattiesburg losing to Vancleave at D.I. Patrick.  They’ve been too hot to get that cold so fast.

Maroon, yall should take care of business easily. I will say this. The Qb for Laurel may have just as good of an arm as the kid from Gautier. But he's not accurate. And they do have one receiver with rockets on his feet. He burned us on a 50yd td pass.

Well one good thing is that playing Gautier should have prepared us for this situation.  We’ll see how things play out Friday night.

Tib I agree with you here. I don’t know if I’ve saw a high school QB with as much arm talent as the Guatier QB. He can deliver the ball on point from any arm angle, granted he’s got talent around him to.
WC has their work cut out trying to slow them down. They put up video game numbers, I knew the game last week between Picayune and Guatier would be a classic.

Just when I thought you were starting to be depended on with your analysis.

just go on and tell us you haven’t seen the gautier  qb without stating  you haven’t seen the kid.

Laurel QB throws hard for about ten yards. Anything over that he has to arch it low velocity.

The Gautier can throw lasers from at least midfield, maybe farther but I seen that far.
You are way off base with that statement.

I've seen the Gautier qb. Gautier was in HHS region 2yrs ago. So are you saying that the Laurel qb just pulled that long td pass from 55yds that went 50yds out of his behind? Lol. Now I know it's different from warm-ups to game action, but I was impressed with how far the kid from Laurel could chunk it.

I’ve only seen Irving from Gautier, but if there’s a QB with the same arm talent in this state, sign him immediately. Off his back foot, on the run, short or long, this kid is the best. Now, as for best all around QB, I’m sticking with my guy, Bray Hubbard, from ten miles away, but the arm is not in question.

No you just said that not me. It was a bad comparison. The Laurel receiver ran for a ways too after the catch. I seen the pass and wasn’t wowed by it. I’m not so sure it traveled fifty yards in the air either .
I know why the Gautier QB is on your mind and you are probably right.

I'll be happy to face Gautier. It means we advanced to 2nd round. If we get by Vancleave and they get by WJ we will welcome the challenge. We've played the 2 best teams we will see all season in Ocean Springs and Oak Grove. Gautier wouldn't or couldn't beat them.

What’s EC at WJ got to do with it ?

and that last sentence doesn’t make no sense. Hattiesburg didn’t beat OS or OG so what does it matter if someone else couldn’t?

The Maroon tide may hav something to say something about seeing the best.

Never change Hattiesburg Tiger never change.

I just said we won't see anyone better in the playoffs than we saw back in September. My opinion don't mean a hill of beans to no one, but I think both ocean springs and oak Grove are better than Gautier. So if we win and Gautier wins I don't believe HHS will be intimidated at all by them if we face each other. And I meant WC not WJ.

Man stop drinking out of that brown bottle or whatever it was y’all won yesterday. Laurel puts nader juice in it and ingesting causes arrogance.

There was nothing in the Brown Jug. We told Laurel to make sure it was cleaned out and polished before they handed it over to us. Are you giving your WC War Eagles any hope at all next week?

Outside of a flooding rainstorm I really don’t. It’s on the road. You seen how we play on the road. We leave our offense at home. Nobody is going to be able to defense their way past these guys. Their defense is weak but our offense is weaker.

They'll have to sustain drives ala the Giants offensive game plan against the Bills in Super Bowl XXV.
