If you can find any streams from their fans during the season go watch them. You will see it comes from the fans/parents and trickles to the players. They believe they are gods gift to athletics and no one is better. As soon as they get hit in the mouth the stop responding to coaching (you will see players ignoring coaches talking to them on sidelines. Regardless if it’s good or bad coaching) and the fans/parents come unglued unlike any others. They criticize coaches. The other teams coaches are in the officials ears. Etc etc. And they way the superintendent has been doing things there the last few years if they run this coach off you may see the program slide to mediocrity for a while cause no good coaches will want to put up with it. I'm not in no way saying Hattiesburg fans are better. We got the worst fans in the state to my opinion especially when things are not going good. But I think Coach Vance is one of the best coaches in the state at keeping his team intact regardless of the fans etc I've seen it time and time again.
