There is not a QB in the state that can make the throws he can make. Word is the MS staff all wanted Irving, but Cutcliffe wasn't having any of it. Howard is a very talented player in his own right, but I do believe the two best in the state are Hubbard and Irving. Howard was chosen because his HFC is the HFC for team Mississippi. Howard went 5-5 and had less than 1200 yards passing, 14 tds and 4 picks against 6a competition. That leads me to think he's vastly overrated. I guess time will tell.
