Well didn't they coach together in some of the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star games and also the Bernard Blackwell All-Star game as well? Most football coaches get along with one another when they aren't having to face each other on the gridiron. I realize there may be some exceptions, but generally they have a lot in common so yeah it's easy to see them being like best friends. I think I'm going to sit this weekend out this week. Mainly I know what to expect Friday night I dont think its worth the trip. I have to give them guys at Florence credit. To go from 1-10 last season to where they are now is pretty amazing. Their schedule this season is exactly the same as last season. I know a lot of folks (myself included) called it a cupcake schedule. But those teams they thumped this season put a thumping on them last season. So Florence has improved dramatically or those teams that beat them have fallen off this season. I realize the natural instinct is to pick Wayne County to win, but if you are riding with the hot hand then you've got to pick different. Laurel (defense struggling but they will get better they always do) 4. Anybody's guess Florence, Htown, Ole Brook who knows I think you could have one of those crazy tie breakers again. Gautier (will go as far as QB can carry them but need to find some D) 4. Same as Region 3 could be George County, Vancleave or West Harrison but who knows. Well Big Poppa, I had one of those epiphanies earlier and I’ve been trying to figure out Region 3 for the longest time and I thought I had a small moment of clarity and I know that water is going to get muddied up again, but who knows ? I think Wayne Co, Hattiesburg, and West Jones all win tomorrow night. If by some chance Brookhaven beats Laurel, you can just about bury them. They would still have WC WJ and Hattiesburg to play and you would definitely have to win 2 of those 3 games and possibly sweep them to make the playoffs. I feel Laurel will win big though.
