Raleigh beat mize 14-0. I was actually ok with how we played against Raleigh. They were definitely the cream of the crop in the jamboree. Scott central was the next best team there, and they were also very good. Raleigh seemed just a little bit better though. Hart field Academy was the next best. Then, there was little difference between, Mize, Taylorsville, and Enterprise. I definitely like Mize over Tville in a 4 quarter game. Enterprise probably still a little better than Mize right now. I feel much better about playing them after tonight than I did before though.

You wont feel good for long. In jamborees teams dont play the hardest and coaches hold things back because the games dont mean anything. Enterprise is a lot better than Mize which you'll find out in three weeks. Enterprise is going to be a lot better with two scrimmages and two games under our belt and Enterprise is tough to beat at home. Mize is nowhere near as good as Enterprise.

Mize was easily the worst team there.  They're awful.  They'll be lucky to win a couple games.

Yeah you fooling yourself buddy. You are going to be very disappointed with your team this year.

I dont know why everybody is down on Enterprise for struggling against a team most teams in the state would struggle with; SC is the defending 2a champs and will almost certainly win it again; I knew Enterprise would struggle with SC; they beat us 13-0 in last years jamboree; Enterprise had some typical problems and mistakes that comes from not playing for nine months;  and SC did beat a very good Hartfield team by the same score they beat Enterprise; and Enterprise beat a pretty good Taylorsville team. I would have been worried if Enterprise lost to Taylorsville. This Enterprise team will make noise this year.

I agree with this, Raleigh is probably going to win 3a this year. They are solid and loaded in the backfield. Scott Central is just Scott Central, they seem to very balanced Those big receivers they have are very talented. First time I saw Hartfield play but they are well coached. Mize is much improved. They look to be much more aggressive than last year. Taylorsvilles offense is going to be rough on 1a teams but their defensive front and linebackers look to be a little inexperienced. Enterprise made a bunch of mental mistakes tonight that I hope they can fix. That’s why you play these things to shake the rust off. I think the Mize/Enterprise game will be a dog fight (no pun intended).

Spot on assessment. I know #4 gets all the pub for Raleigh, but they got two other backs that are also really good. Raleigh’s issue that a lot of people may not know about is their depth. They are not deep, and cannot afford any injuries. They only have like 35 players on their team. Taylorsville will be solid in 1A. They aren’t that great on the line, but they still got some skill players. A big running team will beat them over 4 quarters though. I feel confident Raleigh and Magee will beat them pretty soundly. But once they get in the 1A schedule they will be fine. I thought enterprise looked much smaller than last year on the OL. Their OL last year was tough man. I feel much better this year than I did last year. I don’t quite know if we will be able to it out on the road, but definitely feel good about making a good game out of it.

Enterprise will blow Mize out especially at home. From what I saw of Mize they are small and have no speed or athletes and their numbers are low. You cannot infer anything from a jamboree because Raleigh and Taylorsville were not going as hard against Mize as they would a regular game. Obviously the coaches dont want to get anyone injured in a scrimmage. Enterprise will beat Mize by four or five touchdowns. In fact Mize probably wont even score.

LOL. Well either you weren’t there or you just straight up making stuff up, because we definitely are not small. We don’t have a lot of speed, but we got plenty of size. Definitely bigger than enterprise, and we have over 50 players, which is likely just as much or more than Enterprise. We already know you have no clue what you are talking about, you don’t have to make it that obvious.

Get ready for another beatdown Sept. 10. Take your beating like a man.
