Anyone heard how NF is looking to be under the new leadership.  Ive heard some good things but also heard a couple players looking to move out since that has been a trend lately.  Hope they stay and they have a shot to get back in the mix.

The word down my way is that they got a group a young energetic coaches and a lot of talent. I expect them to see more success in the future if they can retain a coach for a few years.

I think that they'll see a quick turnaround is a very weak division. I expect them to become competitive this year.

Bay Springs moving back up and Raleigh moving down along Marion County Consolidating one of the 2 if not both join Region 8 2A. Stringer dropping down both may join.

The district won’t stay weak as it was last season. Probably will be weak for one more year. After that it could be a pretty stout one. Raleigh will join that region, and if bay springs moves up they also will be in that region. One wouldn’t expect collins to stay down very long as well, especially if the hopewell kids will no longer be offered the bus route to seminary. It’s not a region that will be too friendly to north Forrest. I don’t know what’s happened to that school but it’s went down pretty fast.

Petal extended its city limits whether the school zone extended I don't know. I think St Patrick may drop to 2A. That makes the region 8 be St Patrick, North Forrest, Collins, Mize. Who do you take Bay Springs or Raleigh? Or Both.

They still have to fill out a form every 2 years as to what sports they are playing. If they are 2A they will be in Region 8 always. That will leave 4 football schools and all 4 make the playoffs in 2A south.
