West Bolivar 2022 - 2023 Season Thread

Imma have a good sense of humor about the AD wearing other team colors and the players may have to coach themselves since the coach will be gone after spring and nobody in charge knows where to find a real coach.  There, I think I just about got it all in.  The line is really huge and 14 is bad news.  aite maybe the whole team get to play by late august but just how many players they really got anyway?

I laughed at your post too.. you can take your irrelevant self back to posting about that school you support that hasn’t won a state championships in many years.. and won’t win one any time soon. At the end of the day West Bolivar has more tradition then Enterprise ever will. 
 

We back at work today.. these young guys love this game. Even a failure in the Athletic/Building administration (1-8 former coach @ Ray Brooks as a Athletic Coordinator) can’t keep these players down. These camps are going to be so much fun. Get your popcorn ready!

Also, people always speak as if they know what the future holds. Glory days over? Who are you? You’re on a message board that I come to just to tell clowns like you that even after this preseason game.. the folks I talked to yesterday and enjoyed the game with spoke highly of West Bolivar kids. That’s the truth about life and people who don’t hide behind computer keyboards trying to discredit others. We never give up on kids. West Bolivar/Rosedale has 5 state titles.. how many does the school Enterprise Bulldog, Singlewing, and TheAnswer have? Better yet, when is the last year that school won a state championship? 
Yesterday, we definitely saw great potential for the future of West Bolivar.

We all have an opinion of who may be a clown on here for sure. I went to 2 spring games and a baseball game friday and saturday and all the folks I talked to enjoyed the games and were positive of the athletes also.  I want to see how many games this WB with no coach or admin wins this year. I won't say what the future holds for WB but it appears to be a mess regardless of how many trophies they may have won years ago.

Now be honest. Some folks here do know your name and whether you played or coached a down.

Jerry Walker also won a state championship at Ray Brooks. I'd suggest you be careful about making assertions publicly about people however veiled they may be. You can get into legal trouble (libel).

Enterprise has 2 state Championships in three state title game appearances the latest of which was in 1994; we have a good chance of winning 3a this year; and we wouldnt lose 27-0 to an eight man team in a spring game.

Who is hiding their identity? You talk jargon just to avoid the topic at hand. What school do you support? And all I have to do is include 3 people from West Bolivar who actually had a successful coaching career at West Bolivar/Rosedale to speak on my behalf. Two of them are gone now doing great things because of the politics of this school district today. Any decision I made about playing sports was a personal one and I don’t ever regret considering the path I took to completing college and being blessed to experience early success in my career.

Trust me, you don’t want to take it there. I know for a fact you really don’t.. I’ve talked to people for the better part of 2 1/2 years waiting in the wings (I was born & raised a true Eagle!) to deal with the corruption, discrimination, and nepotism that has taken place in this administration. I’m not talking about the street committee type of people either that give you your info about me! We legally competent in my sphere of influence. 
Therefore, you might want to stop at that comment today if you knew what was best for you and your crew.

Breaking News: Based on inside info, West Bolivar football isn’t the athletic program that is going 0fer this upcoming season. The last couple days have been very bad foreshadowing what is to come in sports across the program. 
Matter of fact football is the only chance at having a success sport season. And it has been sabotaged.The only program to win multiple district titles and advance past the 2nd Rd of the playoffs in a TEAM sport since the consolidation here at West Bolivar.

I was told to expect a lot of truth to SURFACE prior to and during this upcoming year of athletics.
Word is 4 candidates have applied for or inquired the head coaching football position at West Bolivar. Two of which recently have coached on playoff teams as coordinators or position coaches. 
Yet, no outside candidate according to an inside source has been called to set up an interview. Matter of fact, one person has stated they will recommend “my” as in their choice. Therefore, not only is this an improper search with actual candidates but a clear sign of nepotism. Expect multiple grievances to be filed pending the search for both head football coaching positions. 
I never seen people PROUDLY self-destruct not one but two athletic programs across the same district!

Yea, I know this sho appears to be a big crapola of a deal but we all gone sit back and see what they record end up this fall since the boys look like gonna just be they own coach.  It be a fool to take a job in this ridiculous a situation. I am shocked that 4 even showed any interest in it. A school isn't bound to reach out and contact a soul so I'd suggest interview them 4 guys and find the best 1 and let him get to work and help this messed up athletic program.

If we want to be real, they're an 11 man team now so give them their credit and be in the present, an 11-man North Sunflower team beat them.  That's what happened.

Yes - they played up and out of their collective experience. 8-man and 11-man is a different game with different offensive and defensive sets, alignments, and position assignments. They did it and won by a four TD shutout on two weeks practice. Either NSA is very, very good or WB is the opposite, or a combination of the two.

I made my point to give credit to NSA - I've coached football and soccer at one MAIS school and 3 MHSAA schools, although I am a current FA coach who took a few years away to focus on family.  I totally agree 8 man is a game with a total different level of strategy and dynamics off and def.  I just wanted to give props to North Sunflower.  Job well done.
