So... his title is head football coach, but you imply he is not actually the head coach: "By title, he is" - and that "they are asking the right questions to get a coach in place" which clearly implies that a coaching search is taking place. So are you scared to say the truth or will you direct me to talk to someone who actually knows what's going on again? I’ve said players at WB are actively trying to get answers to the status of their season/spring due to no off-season workouts/practices taking place. I’m not anonymous either. I don’t hide who I am. I’ve spoken to people on this subject in person within the district. Also, if you look at it since the consolidation we’ve never conducted a head coach coaching search once but have had 4 different head coaches. The last three hired in July/August. Last spring, was the first spring game the team played in three years. They barely lift weights during the summer. So instead of trying to question me maybe people like you would do something helpful and make calls to people who could help make a difference. Are you a MHSAA representative? MHSAA official? You take time to question my post constantly so perhaps you can ask the people here in the athletic administration who aren’t fulfilling their responsibilities and duties. IRONEagle Posted April 23, 2022 Author Share Posted April 23, 2022 West Bolivar starts Spring Practice on Monday. I am 100% certain that West Bolivar will have a new Head Coach in August. Also, I know the public will not even know there is a coaching search for both HS and Jr. High coaching positions. Two current starters approached me this past Thursday with the news that I’ve been speaking on for months now. I guess the community will find out who the Interim is on Monday. Truth is, the players know who is supporting them. West Bolivar is back. I spoke to one of the best football coaches in the State of MS once receiving the news. He saw West Bolivar athletes this spring and was impressed with how they competed. In the words of the 2x State Championship winning Head Coach he stated, “Rosedale needs a winner as a Coach.” Get your popcorn ready. Note: Going live on social media this Monday at practice. They’ve known probably since January they would serve as Interim coach in the spring. I’m willing to bet that if the team comes out with momentum and buy into their coaching style, philosophy then the Interim will become the head coach. It’s a selfish move but nobody can convince me since the year ended this wasn’t intentionally put in place. The players I’ve spoken to are open to the change and fully committed to playing hard for a new head coach but it’s not the person who from what I was told is serving as the Interim coach. And like I said, West Bolivar has outstanding young talent.. two former State Championship coaches who worked for many years in Rosedale coaching football and track will vouch right now based on Spring sports that there’s VERY highly skilled athletes coming up in grades 7th - 10th. Next season about 3 or 4 freshmen will start and as many as 5 sophomores. They have one rising sophomore (current 9th grader) that just absolutely dominated the track competition in the 200, 400 and Mile-Relay events before his season ended two weeks ago due to a personal matter. Not a setback but something unforeseen. He’s already gotten focused on spring football and as early as this summer this kid will start receiving D1 interest after attending camps. He is another William Lloyd and Kailo Moore skill level wise with the work ethic to match his talent. About 5’10 - 11 and the frame to put on more weight. Mark my words, if you want to know the truth just tune in to the live on Monday. West Bolivar issue is not the kids.. not the talent. I think you won't say whether the coach is the coach because in reality you are simply attempting to subvert his authority and those who actually make the decisions for the West Bolivar School District and make yourself out to be something you're not... and you've been doing it for years. The program and school you claim to represent and support you do more damage to than anyone else by consistently posting surreptitious conjecture about its coaches and administration.
