rebmus
The NCAA may be tempting the SEC and ACC to flip a finger and start a new league. Would the Big 12 and Big 10 follow suit?
Dawg83
Without going too far down a rabbit hole with this... the NCAA can spare me the faux outrage. This is 100% pandering to avoid the angry mob. The NCAA has proven over and over again that they don’t actually care about their student athletes. And the only people that get hurt by rulings like this are the people who have nothing to do with it. You have a problem with the MS legislature so you’re going to punish 18-21 year old college kids for it? Give me a break. Sports leagues trying to get in the middle of political affairs never, ever works out for them. Don’t understand how these organizations keep repeating the same failures over and over again. pancho
It shows us how flawed the minds are of the supposed leaders of the NCAA.

They have to play the PR game. If they don't support the popular narrative it costs them money. They're going to make money off those events no matter where they are. If the state legislature changes the law, the NCAA looks good and still makes money. If the state legislature doesn't, the state looks bad, the NCAA looks good to the progressive crowd and still makes money at their event elsewhere. It's a win-win for the NCAA either way. Insideradvantage
I'd have no problem seeing my team go on the road and win somebody else's regional or whatever. The real question is how much do we lose if we don't host. If it's not a lot and it doesn't somehow damage the program or it's future success (i.e. recruiting) then screw them and the horse they road in on. As the gentleman above said, let's just die on this hill. Fine by me.

That sure seems the stance the NCAA is taking. I agree, the states passing these laws are protecting women's rights.
