coastfootballfanman
Going to be one of the best playoff games in the state! Might drive up to George County for this one. Great athletes by both teams all over the field! Gill-Martin Stadium is a tough place to go in and win at. I'm going to take George County in a classic 42-35! Tiburon
I will go with Laurel here. To be honest though, I think Long Beach would have played them better than Hattiesburg did, so they better beware the big head and not get overconfident because of the blowout of a rival that did not show up. if they play sloppy GC has the horses to make them pay for it. Wareaglefan1us
Didn’t GC lose their starting QB maybe against Picayune? They have a very good running back that reminds me of Christian McCaffery. But Laurel may be hitting their stride at the right time. They can’t go into this game coming off of that blowout with the big head. This may be the best of the playoff games this week in south 5A
Tiburon
do you guys thinking having a shorter week hurts laurel and hhs ?

Considering how lopsided it was, I'd think Laurel had their starters resting a good portion of the game

They still have a good QB and he has a few games under his belt since their starter went out against us.

MgScU
GC will cruise into the second round with a double digit win here.
David44
I don't know much about GC, but Laurel ended the regular season playing the best of all the region 3 teams. Not surprised they beat Hattiesburg, although did not see that final score coming. Their running back is as good as I've seen this year. Gotta go with Laurel here. Merlin
The only way GC wins this is if Laurel loses the turnover margin by 4 or more. That has been Laurel's weakness all year. If Laurel doesn't turn it over more than twice, then GC is getting blown out.

Dumbledore
I am going with George County at home. I think they’ll do a better job of getting the ball in Dandy Dozen Mojo’s hands and the freshman QB is finding his groove. Dumbledore has spoken: GC wins 40-
