If mediocrity saves your job then what is the standard or where is the standard?  When you win half of the games you are supposed to win and lose half of the games you are supposed to win, where is the success at?  If there is any at all it just gets negated.  Nobody likes luke warm.

4-4 after a week is certainly not a good look, when given the competition,  we should be 7-1. 

 

Glad for the win today but my confidence level is still a minus 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. 
 

Playing the next four games against Jackson State and Mount Saint Mary. If we are not 8-4 going into the USM game then….well I don’t know….

Lets just say that State gets swept this coming up week.... Is it too early to fire Lemonis?

Considering the opposition this week is Jackson State and Mount St. Mary’s, he could get canned if he doesn’t have a 4-0 week.

I will be the first serve myself a big helping of Crowe. All of us were bemoaning the failures of Mississippi State Baseball. But alas we were premature in throwing in the towel. 
Glad I was wrong three months ago.

It has been a mostly good year and I’ll admit to being wrong too. He’ll be back for 2025.

 

I still have some reservations beyond that.
