From what I've read, it's limiting abortions in Texas to the first 6 weeks, not a "ban on abortion". Maybe something else happened that I've missed?

I’m not sure, but even if that’s the case it essentially ends abortion because most people do not even know they are pregnant until they are 6 weeks along.

You will have to repeat that question again. What do you mean by a timeline? I’m not sure how Texas came to their timeline of 6 weeks. But a timeline for when life begins is clear. Life begins immediately at the moment of conception. All abortion should be from that moment forward. If a state wanted to make a case where abortion is only allowed if a woman’s life is in clear and imminent danger if she carries out the pregnancy full term, I could possibly at least see a self defense argument that could be made for that. Other than that however, all abortion should be totally illegal in all circumstances.

At the moment of conception is the instant moment you have a baby, correct. A new life is created at that moment

If a pregnant woman is killed, it's legally a double homicide.

At what point is it considered a "double homicide"? It can't be homicide without a "life" so that's how the government views the definition of "life in the womb". Well, that's how the government views "life" in the case of homicide... it should be viewed the same across the board.

I agree with this.  I also don't know how the law can charge someone for a double murder in the case of a pregnant woman being murdered but deny that it is a human life when a woman chooses to abort a fetus that is the same gestational age.
