I don't know if there are any coach of the year awards but if there is my coach better be on it. Look at the margin of victory in these district games. Yes it's a sorry district . It doesn't change the fact that they have done exactly what was supposed to be done to every district foe. What about the officials in Purvis coach ? WC lost to PRC, GC, WJ in the last few seconds by a total of 10 points. So he’s not only a first year head coach with a really young team but he’s a few seconds away from having one loss. Well he's reinvigorated the team, fan base, and community. You can't really put a price on that and it's probably worth more than a win on the scoreboard. WC honestly has way more quality athletes. I don’t mean that to throw off on the others but it’s true and the turnover of athletes is picking up. The thing is he’s winning with the same athletes that others didn’t. I remember thinking if I hit 20k I would have put enough eyes on our situation to maybe wake the WC people up on what the problem was. Less than a year later . We caught fire and it couldn't be stopped. I've already heard Hathornes name being sullied at a couple games already this season. Inside I smiled I think this thread has done its job and will let it get swallowed into the abyss that is beyond the first page. Plan on starting a new one next week for round one. It’s been a good one and served its purpose. You and I talk a lot away from this board people may not know we attended high school together I am a year or so older lol.
