Were they missing players when they lost to Perry Central? Seems like a strange loss.

Don’t know. Haven’t seen that film. I think they had everybody. Their QB had his worst game of the season that game according to the numbers on maxpreps. They only scored 6 points, so I wondering if they had a lot of turnovers

Kemper going to Northside is almost a 4 hour drive and that’s a lot of wear & tear on the body especially being that it’s the 3rd round. I like northside here

Mize lost against 6 teams

 

PCS who just lost to Raleigh in the 2nd round. Magee who was in the region with Raleigh and was 3rd seed. Raleigh who is rolling right now possibly the 3A championship. Lamar Academy who's is playing for the championship, Heidelberg which 2A favorite and Bay Springs is tough in a the south but turnovers killed Mize in that game...I say both played a tough schedule, it's go come down who have less turnovers

Kemper County @ East Webster 

Mize @ Heidelberg 

 

For the north, I think the two best teams played last night with East Webster and Charleston. I think East Webster takes care of business again this week. 
 

For the south, these are the two best teams in the south. Heidelberg of course is the heavy favorite to win it all.

East Webster finishes as the best 2A team in Mississippi. Heidelberg had a historically good program, but their ego got the best team of them and ended what would have been arguably the best 2A season of all time. As for East Webster, congrats to them. They beat Heidelberg fair and square, and dominated the 2nd half to win their first state title. Having two Qb’s rarely ever works, but it did for them all season.
