4A Playoffs Scenarios are out

what ya thought on about the 4A Playoffs Scenarios.

I’m not sure of all of the scenarios but North 4A runs through Louisville and/or Kosciusko. Possibly Clarksdale as a long shot. Shannon’s loss to IAHS doesn’t look good for their hopes of actually competing for a title. Kosciusko is a really good football and Louisville is Louisville.

I wouldn't count Shannon out yet come Playoffs and yes it doesn't look too good for Shannon to win a championship this year after they didn't play Itawamba right but if they meet up with Louisville 2nd Rd I give them a chance to knock them out if they play a complete game with Louisville without beating themselves and keep the game closer I mean they just gave that game away back in Week 2 and it really hard to beat a team twice after you beat the team the 1st time we see how this 4A North Playoffs shake up I do think it gonna be some upsets 1st Rd, 2nd Rd and that why you gotta play the game you don't know who will show up in the Playoffs.

Kosciusko will see Itawamba 2nd Rd and Kosciusko will knock Itawamba out

possible but hard to say.  IAHS has probably improved more since game 1 than any other 4A north team.  I honestly think we get helter skelter results from New albany, shannon and IAHS.  the best 2 teams mite be louisville, kozy or clarksdale.

Kozy will beat Itawamba 2nd Rd Itawamba have been improved they won't have enough to beat Kozy

Those are my top 3 right now with Shannon being 4 regardless of their loss to IAHS. It’s hard for me to believe IAHS comes close to matching Shannon athletically. Those kids won’t sleep walk into them again.

naw Shannon won't be sleepwalking against Itawamba again they kind overlooked Itawamba and didn't have them attention believe me Shannon will get them back next year when Itawamba come to Shannon and Shannon will be mentally prepared ready for Itawamba next year.

we onto next year already?  whoa Nellie! the interesting thing here is that shannon will host new albany if new albany loses to corinth on thursday. the winner of that matchup gets the trip to wildcat country in winston county.

I don't think Shannon and Itawamba will get a rematch in the playoffs cause Itawamba getting knock out 2nd rd to Kozy on Shannon and New Albany they might meet 1st rd if New Albany lose to Corinth and if New Albany don't be Shannon vs North Pontotoc or Tish 1st rd

it wont' be Tish, they aint' beating north pontotoc.  i agree that shannon and iahs will both be eliminated before they can play again this year

I give Shannon a better chance against Louisville than Itawamba against Kozy. if New Albany beat Corinth somehow they will play Amory 1st rd or Houston

Amory at New Albany

greenwood at senatobia

Tishomingo at IAHS

rosa fort at kosy

yazoo city at clarksdale

houston at corinth

ripley at louisville

north pontotoc at shannon

 

I will know late thursday night if I am correct on New Albany, Corinth and North Pontotoc.  corinth can only finish 1st or 2nd.  New Albany can finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd.  North pontotoc can only finish 2nd or 3rd. Corint hosts New albany thursday and north pontotoc has already defeated new albany so it'll be a 3 way tie if new albany can beat corinth.

As of right now there ain’t but 1 scenario in 4A and that’s Columbia.  That is one hungry football team.

I’ve never agreed with this statement. It’s really not that hard to do if you’re vastly better than the other team and you’re well coached to where you know not to overlook that team and just walk in it like it’s already won.

In the South the 4A and 1A brackets will be finalized after Shaw vs Riverside and McComb vs South Pike.

Louisville get either new albany or shannon in round 2.  I say louisville wins that game and then sees clarksdale in round 3.  how good is clarksdale?  In the upper bracket, i think corinth, senatobia, iahs, kosy or rosa fort could make the north 4A final.  5 good teams there.  seems like columbia is expected to win south 4A.

I would expect Columbia to win the whole shebang.  The rest is just sacrificial lamb shopping LOL.

Yes and 2 years ago Columbia was talking  whole week worth of SMACK that Louisville couldn't keep up with their scoring... HUMMM (6 points) all that HIGH POWERED offensive could muster. Louisville for years and years have always tuned it up into a different breed when playoffs start. Not saying Louisville will be at Mississippi State but whoever is getting there from the North Louisville will be standing in the way!!!
