They never offered him a new contract. A very good hire for USM. Hopefully the program can show some improvement and get back to being competitive again. He definitely a task in front of him. But if they weren't leaving, we're back to why did he leave. I think a lot of the worst-case scenarios of unlimited transfer, NIL, are showing up. Sounds like MSU QB situation is a mess.
