OG vs Harrison Central will now be a scrimmage next Friday night btw. Sucks but we missed a week of practice so as long as we’re getting some football I’m satisfied.

Idk….but I’ve worn a cloth mask the entire time and haven’t even come close to catching covid. At least to my knowledge. Half the people that are anti vaxxers probably don’t even wash their hands before they leave the restroom.

At any rate…. The real football starts this week. Hopefully none of the jamborees I’m looking forward to get canceled

South Panola is going virtual for 2 weeks.

I do remember Horn Lake not traveling well at all. But I feel like those are outliers compared to most games. All the south teams traveled well having to go to Starkville and Oxford.

Was attendance down once games were removed from Vets? I remember most fan bases traveling pretty well no matter where the games were being played.

Anyone have fall jamboree schedules for their teams in August?

I have no clue what Hattiesburg will look like but I think they can go anywhere from 1-3 to 3-1 in non district. Petal I can’t imagine will be world beaters at least early on. OG is OG. Ocean Springs returns a good bit from a playoff team that arguably should’ve made it to south state. And Meridian has took their lumps the last few years but I don’t expect them to be bad again. And they have a really good young running back.

Hattiesburg’s non district schedule isn’t a cakewalk at all. You should beat Petal. I’ll give you that. Then you have Oak Grove and Ocean Springs who I think are favorites in their regions. Then a much improved Meridian team
