OG vs Greenville Christian has officially been scheduled.

How long has he been the coach? They just put 60 on someone 2 years ago.

Not to take anything away from Greenville, because they’re really good especially for such a small roster. But Collins Hill didn’t blow me away either from a talent standpoint. Obviously they have Hunter who’s the best player in the country. They won that game off depth and coaching adjustments in the second half. I guess I expected more for them to be #7 in the country.

I hope the bandwagon is full on the visitors side on the 16th when they come to OG.

From the article I read it just sounds like a bunch of kids from the area needed somewhere to play football that grew up playing against each other and they all ended up at GC. Which would explain how they have 21 seniors.

And that’s not to sound disrespectful. I’m glad to see Seminary changing up their offense and from what I saw they have some good looking athletes. At this point we just want to play football so hats off to Seminary for taking the game. On a side note we attempted to schedule Starkville and Oxford but neither fell through. Starkville wanted to play in Jackson which would have left OG with only 4 home games. And Oxford also didn’t want to travel down here.

Doubt we play our starters past halftime.

Ocean Springs will win. I think Hattiesburg can work some offensive kinks out against their D though.

I do find it funny what I’ve been reading on Facebook and Twitter about GC. A lot of bandwagon fans who didn’t give a crap about them a year ago saying some real outlandish stuff. Assuming they get the wind knocked outta their sails tomorrow night I kinda wish they played OG first. But I actually hope they keep it close with Collins Hill.

OG has more quality depth. Literally 2 deep minimum at every position. It’s not the same.

I’m not sure about that. GC has less than 40 players on their roster. But I’d definitely be interested in seeing how they fare against the top dog in the state right now.

I just read where Oak Grove and Greenville Christian are discussing a possible matchup for the 17th. I hope that happens.
