Offensively I want to see more from the running game this weekend. Kiffin said he intends to establish it more against MTSU. Got 243 yards on the ground against Furman but most of that was in the 2H during garbage time. Need so see UB IV have a better game. Rewatching the game now and he didn’t hit the holes hard and looked lackadaisical at times. Parrish looked the better of the two. Parrish did an outstanding job picking up blocks protecting Dart on pass attempts as well. I hope to see Matt Jones more with the first unit. He def earned the opportunity based off of last week. Defensively I want to see more from the secondary. Front seven looked like a championship caliber front seven but there were times the secondary gave up some plays that against a good FBS opponent it could result in a TD or continued drives on 3rd down. They gave up a couple long passes on 3rd and 15+. Trey Amos is the exception though. He played lock down corner while getting his 1st INT as a Rebel.

Kiffin isn’t going anywhere anyways. His daughter is at Ole Miss and son is enrolling at Oxford next year to be the QB. Just some wishful thinking from other fanbases. Top ten NIL and already a top ten paid coach with plenty of job security. If Kiffin left for Florida he’d be putting himself in the same situation Mullen did.

I’ve been loading barges all day today in Baton Rouge and the Cajuns aren’t too happy.

Offense on pace for 100, Dart on pace for 800 yards passing/10 TD’s, Harris on pace for 400 yards receiving, Prieskorn and Juice on pace for 150, Pegues with same amount of rushing TD’s as Judkins today(sarcasm), defense dominating. Time to let some other guys play in 2H and avoid injuries.

My guess is he’s going off of Damarius Yates being a future Dandy Dozen next year which is very likely.

Taylorsville might beat Simpson Academy. It’s hard to get a gauge on them right now because they’ve played two tough defending state champions and have another one next week. They’ve yet to score this year though. They’ll for sure be tested by that game. Def a tough stretch for Taylorsville coming up with what you said.

None of the College GameDay guys including Saban knew Blake Shapen was currently at State when doing their transfer spin the wheel. That’s rough.

Not all are surprises are due to win/loss. Some are by the way it was done. Beating a projected top ten 4A school by 23 on the road is def a surprise. Cleveland Central beating Clarksdale isn’t surprising based off what CC returned and Clarksdale lost but beating them 42-0 is surprising.

Just saw they scored on an untimed down and won it with a 2 point conversion. Looks like I should’ve kept watching it cuz I stopped at halftime and watched some others.

Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet but Louisville defeats West Point 15-14.

Leflore County down 16 with under 4 mins left to Amanda Elzy somehow pulls out a 28-22 win. Another game. Velma Jackson will not have an undefeated regular season like last year as they fall to Canton 45-28.

Pretty much went chalk last night. Thought might have a couple upsets the way it was looking but both Colorado and NC State pulled it out late. Sad news was Minnesota wasted a lot of good fireworks when they went off right after missing the game winning FG against UNC. ACC May have pulled out some wins last night, but none were very impressive.

All those “Come To St. Joe” billboards in Lake Village would have to come down.

Greenville St. Joe would make a nice addition to 1A if they were to ever come back to MHSAA.
