Only part of their schedule I’ve questioned is why did they get rid of Quitman couple years ago? Replacing Newton with them would’ve strengthened it some but I agree with chunky. It’s just been a down year for Union and Clarkdale is a rivalry that’s been played 48 times so I don’t see it getting dropped anytime soon. However I do like what teams like Noxubee County and JDC does with their schedule. They don’t shy away from the big schools.

UAB currently quieting the Arkansas crowd up 17-3 early in the 2Q. A UAB team that lost to ULM 32-6 last week. Def surprised by this one so far.

The OPI was rather suspicious. All the other ones were self inflicted wrongdoings by South Carolina that came in the worst possible time.

South Carolina defense looks pretty stout. Dylan Stewart is a NFL DE already as a freshman.

Enterprise should have smooth sailing rest of the way until they face Noxubee County. Just like last year they should be a tough out 3 seed that’ll beat a 2 seed on the road in the 1st round.

I just watched the game this morning. That TD pass with no time left until half was huge.

@rebmus I see Auburn is going with another QB tomorrow so looks like Thorne’s time is done with. I figured that was coming after last week. Not sure what’s going to happen with the A&M/Florida game because Weigman is questionable for A&M. Mertz will be starting again for Florida but Lagway is still suppose to get some playing time.

South Alabama just beat Northwestern St 87-10 and that’s even with the 4th quarter only being 6 mins long. Prob should’ve just cancelled the 4th instead.

Baldwyn has probably been the most impressive so far. They look like the team to beat in the north. I was surprised how easily Simmons handled Leflore County. South looks up for grabs with them, Taylorsville, Velma Jackson and South Delta as a sleeper. Biggest disappointment so far which was actually kind of expected tho with what they lost is Biggersville.

I didn’t watch State’s game against ASU last week but I heard great things about Skattebo. Getting to see him now for the first time and he reminds me some of former Stanford RB Toby Gerhart. A little bit smaller but same downhill running style.

I agree but I’m also not the one that would have to repair the field after they played on it. As far as weather goes, we’ve got 100% chance of rain all day here in Oxford and showers tomorrow as well. Not suppose to get any sun til Sat. We haven’t gotten any of the high winds they were calling for. Highest it’s been is 15mph.

That’s the most annoying thing about him. It’s not that he’s never going to pick against Enterprise, I don’t blame him. That’s team spirit. It’s the fact that in this day and age he fails to realize there’s multiple outlets where you can go and watch the game and see for yourself. I’ve yet to see any touchback in two games and in both games they’ve had a bad hold one resulting in a missed PAT and other a missed FG. He might not wanna jinx it though because the last time he said something like that it was the Magee playoff game 2 years ago. All week talked about how if it came down to the kicker they had the edge. Surprise surprise lost the game because of a missed FG.
