Non sick athletes should continue to train or risk injury when the team is allowed to compete.

I truly hope this school hasn't shut down athletics for the year.

Have they locked it in for 2 weeks or is it a random daily issue? Some aren't locking in for consecutive days virtually.

I figure that the better performing students(who may depart public school) will be more likely to have parents who are better off financially and can afford private tuition and the cost of home schooling etc. I have family who are beginning to home school and I have friends are are researching private school info on a daily basis and monitoring the rhetoric from respective school officials. There will be 2 main results of this action by parents. 1- test scores will then decrease overall due to better performing kids depart and 2- funding is based on how many kids butts are in the seats daily in the public school. This is just me pondering and gleaning what I can from friends and family etc. It will be interesting to follow the dynamic.

Better Defense: Mississippi State or Ole Miss?
pancho replied to Blake's topic in Mississippi College Sports
The key for me concerning MSU will be how they perform in the games in which they surely will lose. If they are competitive throughout the game and show pulse a all game then folks will be more confident in Leach and /Company going forward. 8 wins should be expected -
The main result of this will only decrease how the schools are funded. An influx of students to the private schools and home schooling is in the works. Parents are sick of the lack luster leadership in education. A large % of the departing students will be the ones who perform better in the required testing categories. Something to think about for sure.

Is there any indication of the kids actually having any symptoms or are they just testing hot?

I have info on a volleyball team that was forced to quarantine today with 9 positive cases and no symptoms.

Corinth had small crowds at their home games compared to the visiting crowds that attended. Weird but i have seen it in person.

I saw that yesterday and it is some truly golden material. We have way too many medical folk unwilling to speak in this manner. Fraud or bio warfare from the CCP and many of our elected and un-elected officials are making bank from it.

I predict the CATS being in Jackson..........

I'm sure prime time wants turf also.

Grenada has a good RB and REC plus a big TE who can play. Supposed starting QB is in alternative school until November I believe.

And if hospitals are truly under staffed, where did the medical employees go and why didn't the medical professionals plan or anticipate this? Dr. Dobbs is already talking about a 3rd variant. I wonder about him.

from 2019-2020 we has 38 million flu cases in this country. from 2020-2021, we had 1800 cases of the flu. them some dam good masks i guess even though there is no factual evidence that of a case study to prove it at all.

Better Defense: Mississippi State or Ole Miss?

Ole Miss may win 10 or 11 if the D can hold opponents under 30. Lotta difference if they can do that and not give up 49 a game like last season. The O will produce points. -
You just hit the nail on the head with the part about staying home when sick and the others going to school. Last year my college age daughter was exposed to a positive person and sent home from college on 2 occasions. One time she simply came home and live with us and we carried on as normal. The other occasion she went and stayed with my other daughter who lives in starkville. I talked to a particular person yesterday who said his church still closed down and he's afraid to send his 4 yr old grandson to school and wishes the child could just get the shot and be done with it. He didn't respond when I asked him if we had enough info on side effects etc. He said that they have stayed home now for over a year and a half and go nowhere. He conveniently left out the part about him going to work daily and going to the grocery store etc. I truly hate the fact that folks are sick etc but now they say that a vaxxed person still needs a mask and that there is now another strain even though they give no information as to how the tests are conducted any differently than before that I'm just about done with it. It's just embarrassing to see folks intentionally just walk away from others in a store. It's either a total sham or they should just tell us that they have no idea if a mask will help or not but that is simply all they know to try. The CCP and many politicians along with the drug companies are smiling and piling up ca$h as a result.

Amen to that. That is pretty much where it starts and stops.

TCPS has several transfers from a nearby 5A school and a 6'6" DL from Philadelphia MS. O line avg is 275lb. They may be in position to cause some problems in the post season.
