No hater am I but I have attended a high school game in the area each friday night for about the lasy 30 years. I'' hold onto the prediction-shannon won't finish 4th. Caledonia beat Amory, nettleton and aberdeen and I'm not sure shannon is organized well enough to beat any of those teams as it is right now. I do have my eye on caledonia vs corinth this friday night.

You must be a true believer then. Corinth looks weak this year as long as their top RB is in that boot. I figure IAHS beat shannon by at least 3 TD's. Caledonia is stout too so I'm sticking with shannon to finish 4th place and go to louisville and get ground up in round 1.

One thing that would help would be to go back to allowing teams to have open dates. We are in trouble in a few years when some of these 60plus aged officials retire. I've seen 5 games this season and 2 of them had decent crews, the other 3 were horrible so it'll be a mess.

MSU isn't good enough to have mistakes on special teams and still win. The D is respectable other than safety play, I'm not sure whats going on with the back end. I'm now leaning toward the offensive issues are directly related to lazy and don't give a crap WR route running. This hurts Rogers and really makes the O line look bad.The walk on receiver 24-Ford and austin williams were the best guys out there yesterday. I just don't know if they will get it together this year.

I agree on the hot seat part for the loser of the LSU/MSU game. If Rogers can just all of a sudden chunk 2 TD passes in 1 minute to suddenly catch up, then why can't he throw deep at other junctures? LSU has several major contributors coming back for this game so I won't rule out some sad MSU fans in this one. A&M/Hogs will be a good one. Ark has a strong 4 games ina row which will ultimately tell how improved Pittman has them. Mizzou/BC mite be the most fun game of the week that not many folk see so u do have a point with it. I have a friend with a son on USM and he's hoping to enjoy some good food and festivities in T town because the game won't be good. UCLA might throttle Stanford but you just never can tell how REAL a pac 12 team really is. K state /okla state should be an old fashioned hard nose slobber knocker

I agree on all but the biggest buzz starter up here in the hill country so far this year has been baldwyn. they appear to have gotten back to old school football like they last played 8-10 years ago. The 10-7 OT win over East Webster was impressive. Baldwyn held the La Tech commit from EW to 63 yards rushing.

I agree on the way too early talk but I go back to my previous point that only wins on homecoming and vs Vandy will have stuff stirred up so much that they'll be wishing for a fight in practice to change the conversation to something exciting.

Imma go watch East Webster @ East Union thursday night. Any info on whether EW is running the winged T? Baldwyn beat EW last week in OT so I'm expecting this to be a good match up.
