  1. I think it is possible to swap Amory and Nettleton. Amory lost quite a bit to graduation. Nettleton has a transfer QB now on the scene who will be a difference maker.
  2. I have a LSU booster source and he's saying that Banco has gone to the beach and if we don't hear anything by mid next week that Bianco is staying put. I will just wait and see.
  3. This type issue is what intrigues me with Foxhall. I think he's trying to make all the pitchers be too similar.
  4. I know for a fact he would have used the pitchers in a much different order had he been in charge in game 3 out in Tucson.
  5. He would be a tremendous improvement in how he handles pitchers.
  6. The streets are quiet as a mouse today in Oxford after Keith Carter and Bianco met this morning. I'm not sure how to read those tea leaves yet.
  7. He's conditioned for about 40-45 max pitches so I wouldn't start him but wouldn't rule out using him in say the 2nd -5th innings to put the fire out.
  8. And I think Bianco is in Oxford til he reaches the 25 year mark for state retirement collection purposes.
  9. The biggest question tonite for me wasn't starting broadway, that is totally fine with about a 50 pitch limit. But following him with 2 guys who are both also RH pitchers and who are so similar in spin rate and movement. And then there will always be the "what if" on whether he should have put graham on 1B and Pumlee in the OF after Elko was injured. Another good year, especially when one looks at all the injuries.
  10. looking like folks waiting in line at DNF might get damp waiting for the gates to open.
  11. I forgot about Johnson. Now I'm thinking I'd start Doughtry then go to Johnson and the Broadway.
  12. I'm betting McDaniel and dougherty will both throw and if that goes to suit Bianco then Broadway will have the opportunity to save it. The combination of LSU still playing along with the rebels in good shape to go to Omaha have the LSU coaching search in limbo for a few more weeks.
  13. As an old coach once said, "sometimes its better to be lucky than good". The bats got hot at the right time.
  14. I guess we should all be expecting big things from Tupelo over the nest few years then.
  15. I agree with rebmus totally on the Tucson regional. Ole MIss must avoid bullpen issues and in games of this magnitude, errors are critical. State also must avoid any errors and can't let folks on base when they give up the bombs over the fence. I still think the MSU pitch staff is uneasy if they have to use anyone other than McCleod, Bednar, Harding and Simms. All the others are like a box of chocolates.
  16. I forget the name but LSU's top assistant left last year due to pulmomarys hard headedness.
  17. Yes it will, until the next opportunity to manage pitchers arises next season.
  18. Go ahead and pencil Louisville in to be the heavy north favorite. I assume there are once agaon several south teams who will contend.

I watched both games and was a bit surprised. I think when WL came back in game 1 that they took the wind out of Sumrall's sails a bit. North took 5 of the trophies. Idid not expect that to happen.

can WL win 1? could they upset Sumrall? thoughts......
  21. pine grove coach was ejected before a player was also ejected in 1A north game 3 last week. pine grove lost and roasted the umpire who made a close call on social media until he responded to them rather crudely. pine grove officials then sent the umps social media response to the mhsaa. the ump is now banned for next year.
