Bottom line is kids are graduating from USM/William Carey/Jones/PRCC and moving to West Hattiesburg area. Their simply going back home to Bassfield/Prentiss/Collins/Mt Olive, etc.

I think Taylorsville will likely be a 4 seed if they can catch a pass from a qb who can't throw to the numbers on a receiver. I don't know how they scored on Mize. This might be the worse Taylorsville team since late 80s or early 90s. That year South Leake beat in the playoffs something like 72-8. Taylorsville was 2-8. South Leake had 6 tds called back. Raleigh should have put 63 on them if the refs would hadn't thrown 20 flags. Taylorsville has fallen hard.

Enterprise 1-8 vs Mize 1-8 & won't be surprised if Enterprise is left out of the playoffs.

1 Heidelberg 2 Bay Springs 3 thru 5 Mize, Clarkdale, or Enterprise take your pick.

When I say timing #9 will have to make a special move because the ball is high, off his left, off his right, or behind him. #5 the ball is too high or over thrown on most passes to him. Their offense is a atrocious. They will not win many games. At best 4th seed.

I do wonder if Scorebook Live is still active. I believe they let their man go some time back earlier this year or last year.

Anyone retired certainly needs to consider it for 5 years or turn 70 years old and able.

MHSAA and MAXPREPS have a partnership now. Max Preps has replaced Scorebook live as the official scorekerper, schedules, stats, etc.

I know more than one and hurts deeply when they lose.

Enterprise is like some state fans i know. 12-0 every year!!! Maybe someday someway it happens.

Maybe they need to teach sports effing, coaching, administration, etc at the Vo- tech level. With some incentives to ref while going to College or not after graduation. As for Mize its been how well they perform as to the outcome of the game in recent years. Not a bad group, just a string of good luck and bad luck.

The gift that keeps giving us they are better this weak. I actually figured Union could take this game when schedules came out. I am holding to that thought. Enterprise just has to prove they can play with anyone weakly. Certain teams they are in trouble.

Newton County scored first then Raleigh scored the next 44 points. Put the jv in and Newton County scored twist. They probably will not put 60 on Tville but could if they are that bad. JV will probably play the 4th qtr for sure.

Sounds like yall had a couple of them D'Iberville refs. Everytime Raleigh got inside the 20 here came the yellow sankey from the home side.

I understand i just have an opinion that we need less school closing and more county/superintendent consolidation.

They were probably and legitimately moving into the Raleigh school zone. So yes kids are still wanting out. The problem is real. GP literally quit bringing families in with good athletes and giving parents jobs.

Perry County needs to consolidate with either Forrest or Greene County with 1 or 2 Superintendents. Jeff Davis needs to consolidate with either Covington or Lawrence Counties with 1 Superintendent. Claiborne and Jefferson Counties need to consolidate together as one county. I think Mississippi can stand to lose 10 or 12 Counties to save money .
