This loss likely did nothing to our tournament chances.

Anybody’s game.

OK, this officiating has gotten effn putrid.
-
He’s a good young man by all accounts and Kermit Davis had him literally scared to play his game otherwise he’d get yanked.
-
Smith had a thousand points and made free throws and yet we still lead after a 16 point turnaround. Interesting.

Well the Ohio Valley is stacked in baseball.

When OM played Kentucky, it was the first game all year Kentucky was at full strength due to injury. I assume that was also the case tonight.
-
Hahahaha

I got up in the middle of the night to take a leak and wondered who won. Turns out they were still playing.

23 of Hawaii’s first 26 games are at home.

Ole Miss can still comfortably get to the tournament but obviously enough they will have to take care of business with what’s left. Plain and simple.
-
I’ve been thinking the same about Missouri but didn’t state move up several spots after beating them?
-
Yeah, and we will lose tonight so it will get worse. I keep hearing "tonight isn't a bad loss. Won't hurt tournament chances," and yet it seems to hurt tournament chances every time. Gonna have to make hay with what's left after tonight.

I agree. This thing could go just about in any direction.

The point guard situation is hurting OM for sure. Losing the transfer from Florida to injury hurt. That said, we certainly laid an egg last night. A&M is not a team that should annihilate you at home in February. I hate to try and poke holes in what Yo has accomplished in her time at OM because we were god awful when she got here and she certainly deserves credit for turning things around big time. It will take time for some fans to get over her statements a few weeks ago though. As for halftime adjustments, I’m not an Xs and Ox guy in basketball, but I do know we don’t look crisp on offense and we have players who are streaky at best and haven’t really taken that next step in their games despite being in Oxford for multiple seasons. Scott is a good (not great) all around player but not somebody who’s gonna get you 20 plus. She just cannot hit jumpers consistently despite getting multiple open looks. Collins, who is the only Mississippi girl on the roster, and that side saddle shot of hers is streaky and can be big at times but also burns possessions when cold which is a lot of the time. We don’t shoot the ball well in general. There are two or three on the bench (thinking Eaton here) who played a lot last year and they are either no longer seeing the court or contribute little when they do get in. There is some sort of disconnect there. Finally, I almost wonder if Oxford is a women’s basketball town. Fact is, most places aren’t outside of Columbia, Baton Rouge and five or six others. I don’t see a reason why we couldn’t be, however. Yo is the 10th or 11th highest paid coach in the country and in the toughest league in college basketball, but the climate around the program is a touch in a funk at the moment. I do hope it finds its mojo soon.

Women’s basketball is very unathletic to watch. The only team I dare to watch is the one I root for and that’s OM. That said, we looked like absolute shit tonight. How we could manage to get blown slap ass out by an A&M team with a subpar coach is beyond me. I get getting knocked off at home occasionally by a motivated visitor, but when you get blown out of the gym in a game you really really need to win, well, that’s just a little different.

The graph they had on during our game last night said Ole Miss was a 10 seed and State was in the first four out. I'm sure that was one of the 10 predictions we can find online somewhere. Supposedly a loss last night wouldn't hurt OM. I still say, however, if the committee can find a reason to leave us out though we better not give it to them.

We got slumdunked in the second half. Good lord,.
-
We are still way ahead of schedule.
-
Well, one didn’t play at all. Sick.
-
He is indeed good. That’s obvious. As for catching heat for hiring him that was all from the outside seems like. And if you don’t let it stop you or bother you what the hell. It never bothered me for a second. Keith Carter is also very good btw.
-
You State boys don’t fret too much. I’m very happy with our season so far, but y’all will beat us in Starkville. I have little doubt.
-
Something like that.

“romantic relationship?” Two dudes? Haha damn. Since they are the Razorbacks I’m thinking Deliverance here.

The road in the SEC is damn near impossible. We speak from experience.
