Evidently this just depends. Imagine if we had gotten Deion Smith on the team this year? He basically had his helmet in hand walking out for the first practice but could never get his summer school grades approved to start at Ole Miss. So apparently there still some value on going to class and making a grade for some.

You make good points, however and obviously enough, the only way for Ole Miss to be in the this thing when it’s officially decided, is to keep winning. And, if they do that then I have to think they move up a spot or even two which would take them out of that last at large spot.

I guess Diggs playing could be a good thing, but you almost wonder why even do it at this point. If he doesn’t play more than four games he doesn’t burn a year but if we get into the playoffs and run the table he’d play more than that and burn it.

So is Thomas going to be the starting RB Saturday? That would tickle me and piss me off at the same time. At any rate, he'll probably get like 15 carries and Bentley will get 8 or 9. Not saying Bentley has always looked great but how is he supposed to no more than he's played. It's all such a head scratcher.

Just try to enjoy the ride. I get nervous myself, but getting nervous ain’t gonna make a bit of difference in our play. On another note, what’s up with that injury list we get every Wednesday, but especially this one today. Pretty much everybody outside of Dart is on it. I’m starting to think it doesn’t mean much… ha. We have mismanaged some of our weapons this season for certain.

OM looked good. Not sure how good Illinois is. They finished last season ranked 6th and made it to the Elite 8 but they have a completely different team this year.

Harris, Bentley, and 2-3 key defensive guys who’ve been out need to be on the field. Oh, and we need to find a magic potion to get that offensive line to pay a little better.

OM game was absolutely lost in the first half.

That game didn’t surprise me at all. Strangely enough I’m not even disappointed. I thought we’d win by about the same score we lost so the exact opposite isn’t much of a difference. Everything we wanted is still there for the taking.

Just pitiful. College football is speeding down a very bad path.
