Yes I know he got fired. But the majority of MSAIS 5A is pretty bad. The top end may be better than MHSAA 2A but the bottom end surely isn’t.

Great hire for Lamar. Land was the man calling plays for MRA this season and has done a good job overall. Lamar has some good talent that is being wasted on the Mac Barnes farewell tour. Expect Land to build a contender in a few years.

And these three counties alone have better football than all of the “claimed” Pine Belt. The only thing is that all of the Jackson area schools with the exception of St Andrew’s and Lanier are 5A or 6A.

The computers think highly touted wide receivers do more than they actually do. Wide Receivers can only do so much when you have a god awful quarterback.

1. The typo was an autocorrect. 2. MRA has city police as well as school security on patrol during games. You can't even park on campus without a pass. On top of that MRA is in the richest city in the state of Mississippi with one of the smallest crime rates. Real "thugs" don't exist in Madison. It was definitely a bunch of JA students that did the job.
