Madison St Joe got blown out by Tri-County. I disagree that Lamar should be #5 but MSJ shouldn't get put in their place.

I agree, but MRA now has a 6-8 center that happens to be the best 8th grader in Mississippi. Add that with a team that has only lost one contributor and you have a team that is simply too big and too loaded. Greenville Christian doesn't have the size or the star power.

They will not win in basketball. MRA is too stacked.

Many Delta public schools are among the worst in the state, because many of them get little tax money due to the fact that they are in sparsely populated areas in very poor parts of Mississippi. Most Delta private schools are considerably better than most Delta public schools.

Kentucky had a mega struggle win against Chattanooga. Looks like State is going to win. Oklahoma had a struggle win but found out that they have a corner who should play receiver.

You would have to go farther than Hattiesburg. That would basically be a merger between Hattiesburg and Oak Grove with a couple PCS kids sprinkled in between. It would be a good team but there would probably still be better teams out there.

I hate to say I told y'all so but... When private schools recruit on a scale like Greenville, no one can stop them.

The coaching maybe unproven, but it is far from terrible.

MRA went against PCS at their homecoming last year and won 28-0. Considering the fact that they knew they were going to lose I don't think there was any disrespect involved.

If you transfer from a MAIS school to a MSHAA school and you have to sit out a year.

They would have to sit out for a year before they could play again.

Oak Grove's strength is the fact that they have college level talent at almost every position. Not necessarily D1 talent, mind you. Oak Grove has some D1 athletes, but not as many as Greenville and not as good.

How many 3+ star players does Greenville Christian have: 3 How many 3+ star players does Oak Grove have: maybe 1 and he's a offensive lineman

I have a feeling its the lack of star power.

The reason why no one talked about them last year was because they scheduled their normal MAIS 3A-4A schedule. They actually first drew attention during last basketball season when they destroyed JA and Hartfield and should have beaten an overpowered MRA team. The attention comes when they beat big schools not blow out little schools by 60 points.

I bet if Madison Central and Germantown closed and all of their kids went to either MRA or JA, that would hypothetically be the best team. Madison all star team anyone?
