I stand corrected. Seems OS controlled this game from start to finish.

It's definitely not possible.

Careful what you wish for.

There are murmurings of Lewis retiring. Didn’t know High had his time in.
-
They're not going to be able to hire a committed coach. At this point, it likely doesn't matter with the continuing drop in enrollment. I'm hoping Pascagoula stops playing them because the games are so lopsided and we gain nothing from skull-dragging them.
-
Appreciate that scouting report. I anticipate Pascagoula struggling to run the football because the OL has been merely serviceable all season with our talented junior RB gaining a lot of yards after contact.
-
I assume Moss Point will be in 3A soon. incredible.
-
He scrambled for moderate gains but the pressure flummoxed him into bad throws and a couple of interceptions. He's very raw with an obvious high ceiling but there isn't much around him and their offensive line isn't a strength.
-
How did Picayune defend him previously? Pascagoula blitzed HEAVILY and GC was completely stymied.
-
Yeah, I don’t understand anyone favoring OS. Suppose both teams are rebuilding to a degree but OG has better skill across the board. The OS offense is too pedestrian to keep up in this one.
-
How many years has Vance been the starter? Corder had started for multiple seasons and has become a masterful distributor.
-
The Hattiesburg defense will have to match the skill of Pascagoula’s offensive pieces. How good is your defensive line?
-
Picayune scoring 27 points in the first game was a head-scratcher — the GC defense is hardly stout (I haven’t done the math but they’re probably giving up around 25 ppg if not more).

Pascagoula 34 Terry 0 Half
-
Someone school me on Terry. I expect a much tougher game than the last few Pascagoula has played in.
-
Both teams' weaknesses are on defense but I think Pascagoula is less porous.
-
I almost admire the audacity of it.

The game turned when Picayune stopped us on the 4th and short. That was a coaching blunder: Picayune called a Double A gap blitz and the coaches should’ve checked out of the run between the tackles. You’re right about Pascagoula going conservative. The three and out in the 3rd quarter when they called three consecutive runs was puzzling considering how well Corder has thrown the ball this year. Picayune capitalized on the nothing punt and seized control.
-
Picayune played a cleaner game and their defensive staff called a good second half.
-
Picayune is steamrolling our five man defensive line alignment. No resistance.
-
Both teams are defensively challenged.
