Had this game been played at the end of last season Laurel would have won handily. So how much has Meridian improved relative to Laurel?

all of this could have been avoided if everyone had just got the vaccine. But Mississippi has the lowest vac rate in the entire country. That's embarrassing!

USM was actually the best site as stadium size is almost perfectly suited for these games plus Hattiesburg is easy to get to and has plenty of Hotels/Restaurants very close to stadium. And the way the stadium is designed very close to the field with a steeper incline offers much better sight lines
