I’m sure Clarkdale is a fairly competitive team. They were within a point of beating West Lauderdale. it’s a rivalry game so Enterprise might show up but based on previous results I think CDale rolls.

MAIS schools can compete with MHSAA schools their size/around their size. For example his home school has whooped up on Enterprise a few times, beat NE Lauderdale a few times and split with Newton(each team’s win was lopsided, and yes it was one of Lamar’s championship years when Newton whipped em). So, Lamar and many other MAIS schools has showed they can play with schools with comparable enrollment. But to compare them to the big schools is a stretch for sure.

i know people don’t like EHS bulldog fan but Lake and Bay Springs are much stiffer competition than Choctaw. Still think Union wins but Eprise should keep it fairly close.

They are located in Butler which is very close to Meridian.

Lol Choctaw county and west lauderdale vs what they have played the last two years. Every school you mentioned has as much or more talent than Clarkdale.

Majority of the better and more stable MAIS programs are ran by long term/life long MAIS guys. Doesn’t mean retired coaches don’t do good, and sure doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be able to have access to their retirement. Herbert David King Brian Pickens Chase Nicholson Sean Harrison (now in admin) all great coaches and are MAIS guys. Magnum is doing great. Barnes and Black did great. a good coach is a good coach. as far as Breland and Wayne Aca. They sure go through a lot of football coaches over there.

Agreed, “down” has a different meaning for them than most. But make no mistake they won’t be able to replace 20 something seniors. Still go few round deep in playoffs. Lake is a team who could be dangerous, I’m sure they will be tough of defense. New OC will be interesting.

He kicked peoples teeth in and then bolted when it was time for them to get even. Maybe he knew he was leaving and didn’t want to leave a new coach with a young team and tough schedule.

They will beat SEL and McLaurin. Kemper will be much improved could see that being a good game. Nox will blow them out of the water. And no Enterprise doesn’t have big kids. They are scrappy, tough, and disciplined. Don’t know why he doesn’t call it like it is. Really makes an entire message board root against eprise. Meanwhile the people of that area are fantastic, hard working, salt of the earth people.

Based on the schedule I saw SC put out I don’t think Stockstill was expecting much from this years team. He lightened it up big time.
