By big boys I hope you mean 5 and 6A because there are very few 3 and 4As that would hang with them and absolutely none in 1 or 2A that would. That team is legit. John Curtis style whole school made up of nothing but football players. Imagine next year will be bad for them unless they hit up the transfer portal again.

3A football with 4 coaches?

Most private schools start class this year but started actual football practice in July. Last year many Private Schools were maskless and had no issues. If kids were sick they stayed home if they weren’t they came to school.

Magee will now be canceling their original jamboree and the Taylorsville game will now be a jamboree. Also heard one of the Yazoo schools is doing this.

Morton will win that division. Union, Forest and Enterprise fighting for 2-4. Morton is big, fast, and well coached on defense. Union will have the best player in the district but idk what they got other than he and the big O lineman, I believe they graduated a lot. and let’s be honest if Forest can get things strait they will be a problem.

From what I hear North Panola beat Kemper and Louisville destroyed Philly. Neshoba/Stark was close don’t remember who won.

Varsity score was 18-6. JV was 6-0. y’all looked much improved possible playoff and a top 2 seed in 22. If Newton county feeds 14 and gets their RB back they will be ok as well.

If West Lauderdale is ever going to win a SC this is the year to do it.

I hope Lauderdale Co. does do that but I will have to see it to believe it. We are talking 60 years of not caring about football. SE field looks like a cattle lot and NE looks like a front yard that hasn't been maintained. I'm a grad of SE btw.

I didn’t say West’s was bad but it’s average imo for 4A. Probably 3rd best in their division, field house is nice. Clarkdale just completely had their playing surface redone a few years ago.

Enterprise has a cool set up but nowhere near the nicest or biggest in 2A and now with them moving up to 3A they fall even lower. It is a neat and unique atmosphere. Neshoba's new home side is nice. Newton Co has a very large capacity for a 4A but could be nicer. Phillies is unique, Union's is nice but small, Newton's was once nice and can still hold a good bit for 2A but has been run down over years. And then there is the Ray! So much history and is huge! West is ok at best. The rest of the Meridian area is pretty pathetic honestly...
