So you want to take away two touchdown plays? Uh yeah I guess if you start taking away offensive plays by OS, then OG did great! Or you can take away the two bad snaps by OS in their own redzone, the fumble late in the game in the OG redzone and a soccer slide tackle by the OG QB to make the game 41-7 instead. DOMINATION if you watched the game. OS may win or lose but OG's "most talented team" is at home for Thanksgiving and their fans are still too salty to give credit to the "soft coast school". Game dominated by Springs? OG had more yards than Ocean Springs. Take away the trick play for a TD and the long run at the end and Ocean Springs doesn’t even have 100 yards of offense. #15 had a GREAT game but saying OG got dominated is false.

Must I remind you of the last 2 decades between OG and OS or did you just start appreciating football down there when you got Brey Hubbard? You woulda got smoked last year too had you not choked against Meridian.

It was a tough spot for Hankins to come in to. He probably wasn’t the best fit. Hired retired guys from AL that I don’t think were as invested as they should have been. Good young players. I can see WC getting on track. I’m not sure Hankins can overcome the past few years but he is a good guy.

The thing is people blame the coach at WC for where WC is. The program fell off after Coach Mangum left we started loosing discipline. The coach then left and that was along the time covid hit. The school board hired a long time WC assistant as an interim coach and I thought he was doing a pretty good job but we had to forfeit a couple of region games and missed the playoffs. A lot of people wanted him to get the job but the school board went in another direction. Enter Coach Hankins in a definite no win situation because you had parents not letting their kids play because they were mad over the hire. You had people moving their kids to surrounding schools. Coach Hankins was in a bad spot and a lot of people haven’t never accepted him. He’s a great guy he won a 3A title in Alabama. Do I agree with everything he does absolutely not but heck I didn’t agree with everything Coach Boyles did. When Marcus was here we had coaches from the middle school on our varsity staff and that made the transition easier. We don’t have the caliber athletes that Marcus did but they’re coming back around. The old saying winning spoils you is definitely true. The last five games or so you were seeing some freshman and sophomores playing and that group is very talented. So time will tell where we go from here.

I get it a new face as a whole for WC

I get it from your eyes as a fan hometown or whatever but the playoffs yall were rollin like a real put together team despite regular season outcome. Maybe yall should stay playing a playoff games or think yall always in the playoffs in the future no disrespect.

Nobody’s disappeared. I stand by everything I said. OG was the more talented team as they are every year but youth is youth and it ultimately bit them as it did at times throughout the season.
