  2. I like seeing your thoughts for games each week. I am a little surprised you didnt have an opinion on Hattiesburg/WJ.
  3. Just a few things this week Leake Central is really going to win that region in their first year of existence as a school and have a good chance to make it to the title game. IN 5A 7A-4A Undefeateds left with very slim chances to make it to to the title game Lake Cormorant, Diberville and Pass Christian Tony Vance, I’ve never asked you for anything. Win that dam game this Friday for everything that is holy and just. Bring the drama as only you can. If Meridian pulls this off I will send you a bottle of top shelf of your choice through Vott. You got my word. Diberville now on to you. It’s all right there in front . Homefield all the way thru south State game. Consider this an intervention. Your defense is not gonna stop Gulfport . Your offense is not gonna be able to line them up and just push them out of the way like you’ve been doing to people. TWO WEEKS. Two weeks the coach has had to prepare for this. Undefeated and absolutely has the team to go in and win this game. Yet I can’t shake this nagging thought that they just gonna go out there and keep slamming into the line over and over and over and over. Congratulations brother unbeaten is a hell of an accomplishment, but all it does is buy you an opportunity like this Friday. I know sometimes it seems like I’m picking on this dude, but I spend a good bit of time over that way. To me over the years, they have wasted more championships than anyone I know. Let the chips fall where they may Two more weeks. . Be safe.
  4. So is St Andrew's to Quitman right now.
  5. Very possible but with more consolidation fuming what is the answer? Rosa Fort and Yazoo County in a region?
  6. Really under 125 makes sence to close the doors.
  7. Doesn’t seem like enough reason to keep the doors open at one of them does it?
  8. Hattiesburg/WJ might be a shootout, but not that high. More like a 31-28 score

  14. myrtle is in region 2 of 2A now. won the region as well
  15. I’m wondering if they will go with two seven team regions and two 5 team regions for 7A. Send Oxford and Tupelo with the Desoto schools in region 1.
  16. Heck, I want to go back to SEC West Best LOL.
  17. I think the administration at Winona will fight a move back to region 3. That region doesn’t travel well and the competition is not there year in year out.
  18. 1. $$$$ 2. $$$$ 3. Massive disparity in numbers between the highest 5A and lowest 5A 4. $$$$ 5. Travel times in some of the larger districts in the 5A set up 6. $$$$ 7. More state champions to celebrate 8. $$$$
  19. Nothing. I wish we went back to that
  20. What was wrong with just having 1-5a?
  21. West Lauderdale to Yazoo City is a haul
  22. That’s what we have been discussing. I don’t see how you are going to be able to do that in 2A South without it being a geographical disaster for some teams. You can make it work, but only if one region has 4 teams while another one has 6
  23. South looks right. West Lauderdale and Newton Co could flip.

  25. Kamario officially out for the season. Take me back to September. It was a lot more fun than October has been for State fans.
  26. You could say first place is riding on this game Petal will be in the drivers seat with a win and chaos will reign if Meridian can pull it off. Petal likes to play it close and play for the last possession to protect their sorry defense. If this game is close and Meridian gets the ball with five or six minutes left they will win . They have the kind of style to grind it out and score . Vance won’t do like Brandon did with the lead Its hard to believe that Coach Boyles will lose this game at home plus you know what happens in Petal with officiating. Nobody has really given Petal a good arse whopping yet this season.. This would be a great time for it to happen. Fingers crossed. Meridian has the athletes to do it but they will need a few breaks to keep them hanging around until the end
