  2. Just my guess is you avoid dealing homecoming parades and Friday game preparing by getting the info sent in on a Monday. It will be interesting to see how the 1.5 multiplier changes some schools classification. Also those who gained and those lost kids that puts them in a different classification up or down.
  3. The link to reclassification was sent to principal emails today. If necessary have superintendent, principal, and athletic director meet to make sure is feeled out correctly and submitted with September's enrollment by September 21st, 2026. Last day to update form is September 28th, 2026.
  4. Today
  5. on the flip side, How good is Kamario Taylor? SEC final and College football final shows were raving about him. Sunday morning. It wasn't just that he was hitting open receivers, the passes were so spot-on, the receivers didn't even break stride. His passing motion is effortless. Sure there will be some hiccups, but my goodness, what a start for him and State.
  6. No Country for Old Men The last time West Point was 0-3 was the year 2000 and the last time they were 0-4 was 1998 and they are staring 0-4 in the face with their match up with Tupelo on the horizon. (Hint-a team to keep a look out on in 5A if West Point does slip and fall is Leake High School. They are a consolidation of 2 teams that won a lot of games last year. AAAAAA is being very, very good to us Nothing to see here! Warren Central goes back to back as North champ. It’s also also looking more likely that they’re gonna repeat as state champs too since everyone in the south keeps taking turns each week of falling face first. Let them eat cake Winonas dominance is drawing a lot comparisons of Bassfield when they were capable of punching up in weight class. While those talks are fun to go back-and-forth about it can’t be fun for anybody in the south and the inability to step up and look like they’re gonna mount even a challenge. Don’t drop the soap George County and Wayne County meet this Friday in Waynesboro. Myself and many others take it only a matter of time until Wayne County starts putting fear into people again. George County hasn’t really put a fear in anyone in a while. Although they always seem right on the cusp of getting over the hump again. This will be like taking a shower for one of these teams, and at least washiing off the mud for another Friday. The other one will still have everyone else turning up their nose at them. One-way ticket If Harrison Central travels over to Tylertown and loses this Friday after taking two weeks off to prepare, just keep driving west for a while. I can’t even think of a memorable game that they played ever outside of playing Oak Grove close that one time. It’s too big of a school not to do better in football. Only one way for a smirk to leave. It has to be slapped off. I’ve heard whispers around the Petal/ Moselle vicinity of the red Panthers having the look of some program ready to join the top. The quarterback has had time to make meals for the next day standing back there so far. Let’s see what happens.. Interesting: Kemper County, Madison, Central, Columbia, Pascagoula
  7. It is not a jinx. LOL. I will say this, if you guys lose to Biloxi, there are some major issues going on. Probably the worst Biloxi team I have seen in a quite some time.
  8. I agree. After watching Enterprise and Clarkdale face Stringer back to back weeks, I actually thought Enterprise looked slightly better. I say they win one of those and clinch the four seed. I doubt they can beat Mize, but I don’t think it will necessarily be a blowout. 6-4 overall. 7-3 if they can beat both Bay Springs and Clarkdale.
  9. I think they may beat bay springs and clarkdale if they stay healthy. They could also lose to bay springs and clarkdale too
  10. Not at all. Actually played well. It was a one possession game and HHS had the ball, fumbled it for an OG scoop and score. That was a possible 14pt swing. Lose to Biloxi this week then there will be some concern.
  11. I think win or lose for either team doesn't necessarily spell disaster. I'd like to see Picayune improve from the Biloxi game and I'm sure Ocean Springs would like to build off the Pascagoula win. Both teams needed wins on Friday and got them. District play still hasn't started yet, so every goal that's in front of Picayune and Ocean Springs is still attainable. We could ask that same question about Hattiesburg. Is Hattiesburg in trouble because they lost to Oak Grove?
  12. Is the Picayune/Ocean Springs loser in trouble for the rest of the season and is the winner back on the right track
  13. probably have 5 L's coming up on the schedule as the season plays out
  14. Week 3 Recap from the Varsity Voices Podcast ON THIS EPISODE West Points fall again Warren Central and Germantown battle it out Kosciusko and Hernando in a Double OT thriller Can anyone in 3A north challenge Winona? Top performers and Mississippi Army National Guard Player of the Week
  15. They might be on 2024 State or 2011 Ole Miss’s level. They’re brutally bad.
  16. All true. I was just surprised by the result Wish them well
  17. Clarkdale is 3-0, you will have to play your best to beat Bay Springs and Mize. I don't see 3-1 unless you outplay your opponent weekly. Union is obviously down this year.
  18. Well when you've been punched in the mouth for two straight weeks against Gulfport and JA, just getting up off the mat and finding a way to win is huge. I'm sure Picayune would have wanted to win by a larger margin, but there was a lightning delay and you are on the road. Anytime there's those types of delays, it generally favors the home team. Picayune needed a win and the got it. They know they still have a lot to work on.
  19. Wedgeworth can sling it and Hancock can score. They just need to clean up the penalties and find some defense somewhere. I can see the 42-35 score favoring St. Martin, but I don't think either team will be able to stop each other offensively. The scoring might even be higher, like a 56-49 type ballgame.
  20. Richton just gave Salem their first win since 2020 so they have to be awful.
  21. I think it will be 42-35 SM. The other Coast game he's way off on is Richton v St Patrick. Richton lost ALL their talent last year. St Patrick will win 28-7. I think OS will lose to Picayune 28-21
  22. 14 of 15 straight up , Sorry I didn't see Harr Central v Tylertown was next week. Wow Gpt shocked me with that score as did Picayune. Picayune must be way down this year
  23. I knew Enterprise would be better because of all the starters and experience we had coming back I think we could clinch the # 2 seed I think Heidelberg is the only team in our district we cant beat the thing is we are still not as good as we can be I've been watching the teams in our district Clarkdale doesn't appear to be quite as good as last year I think we can definitely beat Bay Springs and Mize at home; I think our ceiling is 8-2 and 3-1 in district.
  24. How bad is Arkansas. I watched a couple quarters of that and they looked terrible.
