Rebel Bert
Does he have a case of mental Illness? Does he realize he just doesn't have a good offensive line and weal handed receivers.
Bulldogs4
weal definition “a red, swollen mark left on flesh by a blow or pressure.” No he does not have a mental illness. Not sure if our receivers have red , swollen marks on their hands. Our offensive line was a huge question mark coming into the season. The group has been inconsistent at best. Terrible @ Kentucky and in the 4th quarter @ LSU. Struggled against Bama though they were not terrible. In other games , Arky, A&M they have been good. Last night they were good for about half the game which as it turned out was enough. Most likely they will struggle to block Georgia’s defense which is really good. But if we are to have any chance to win, they will have to win the LOS. On second thought, he may have a mental illness. He is a football coach and most of them have to have some mental issues to withstand the pressure of being a coach. His way to cope is to have a dry sense of humor. Fortunately we are the beneficiary of it. Oh and he is a pretty good coach too. 6-3 with three games to play is not a bad season to date. Dawg83
I’ve generally been pro Leach and have never been in the “he should be fired” camp. That said, I think many of the criticisms of this team are fair. In some ways I think there has been regression from 2021 or even earlier this year. As a State fan I worry that Leach at 61 in this era of offenses is not nearly as appealing or effective as he was 10-15 years ago. He will have a chance to silence some critics if he pulls off a miracle next week or wins in Oxford. But it will not be a fun off-season if State finishes 7-5, and Leach is likely coaching for his job next year.
lionpack
If leach is coaching for his job next year and loses it i hope the new AD dusts off Art Briles and brings him in. I would lose 0 sleep over it.
