In my own opinion that region has gotten some surprised teams to me but I'm not convinced they can keep up with Bay Springs nor Taylorsville but, we shall see. Seems like the Lumberton-Taylorville game should be interesting. Both teams are 3-0 in region play. The West Tally-South Delta game is interesting too. Both teams only have 1 district loss. Looks like the other 3 spots in Region 1 will be up for grabs with an ineligible TCPS team. Faulkner seems to want one of those spots. Who else will want to grab the other spot? Region 2 seems like the four teams know who they are with Coffeeville setting themselves up to be on the outside looking in. The West tally/ Coffeeville matchup also might be very interesting. West Lowndes, Sebastopol, and Ethel seemingly is trying to fight for those remaining 2 spots left that’s behind Vardaman and Hamilton. That's Hamilton weakness is probably going to be their defense. Most Delta schools elected not to play football in 2020-2021 season. The Delta is included in the south in all other sports already now.
