JV games.

If your team is fortunate enough to have a JV team and when they play games do you put in stock into what the future will be for them in the next couple years? Example: Picayune is loaded this season. If their JV team went 0-6 and got blasted every game and could not run the ball, would that concern you going into next season. On the flip side your varsity is bad this season but your JV whips every team they play soundly and goes undefeated. Are you then fired up about the next couple of seasons?

as long as they are learning and getting prepared the right way for what is coming in varsity I am ok with losing jv games. and i have watched coaches do the same thing over and over and over when it was not working in the game - in order to teach it. They need the kids to be able to do it right against another team in a game.they see the bigger picture.consistently doing things the right way leads to success.

If a Jr High player is moved up to high school, they cannot go back down. High  school players can play 6 quarters per week.

Even if they are only playing with the high school JV and not with the varsity? Because I know plenty of junior high teams that are actually doing both.
