coastfootballfanman Posted February 2, 2022 Share Posted February 2, 2022 Hockaday and Ladner are the two big ones I have heard. I was not given any big names outside the area. Community support has definitely been behind Ladner the last two times they have hired a coach and were not thrilled when he did not get the job. I expect he is the guy. Ladner would be the community favorite, has rapport with the kids, and is a highly motivated guy. Even though he's young and doesn't have the most experience at this point, he would be a good choice. Reason being that it would keep the community happy, morale high, and you never know what he could do with it if he got it. They may not have the HC experience, but they definitely have some great things they would bring to the table. I expect Ladner to be the guy. coastball Posted February 3, 2022 Share Posted February 3, 2022 DHS school folks tell me Ladner is the principal's choice, however she has wanted him the past 2 times also. Unfortunately Hockaday has not shot because Ladner is principal choice. Unfortunate as I thin Hockaday would be a fine young head coach.
