I'm curious to see who is going to come out of Region 3 unscathed this fall. With Hattiesburg, West Jones & Wayne County all in the same region this year, it will truly be survival of the fittest. JagsFan77 Posted April 16, 2021 Share Posted April 16, 2021 I think Region 2 in 6A is one of the toughest regions for sure. Even with the loss of South Panola. Oxford, Starkville, Madison Central, and Tupelo have all consistently been at the top of 6A for a while and now they are all in the same Region. South Panola should steam roll all of Region 1 now. I’ll be completely honest with you, I have no idea what Picayune is or isn’t going to do this year, but I think they’ll make the playoffs. I haven’t seen our schedule for this year, but I look forward to our matchup with George County wherever that may be. If I had to call it now, I’d say they will probably beat us simply because of the way the wheels fell off for Picayune to end the season. As far as I’m concerned, the jury is still out on Stogner.
