TheAnswer Posted July 6, 2024 Author Share Posted July 6, 2024 (edited) Only one of their 6 wins was vs a team with a winning record. Total wins of the 6 teams they beat = 11. They were also Richton’s only win of the year. I’ll stick with my original statement that they were awful last year. Edit: They have definitely picked up some new recruits. Won’t be the same team as last year. Bowling Green showed you just need 1 good recruit to make a difference, but they still couldn’t win it. Young team last year that had a huge turnaround with 9 wins. Lott will have those kids contending for a championship. 4A is still TCA’s to lose though. They’re loaded. My junior year we were beat in the basketball state championship by a Louisiana team with a one year 6’7 “foreign exchange student” from Australia that could pull up from half court and drain it. I’m 42 now and still ticked off that a Louisiana team did it. My senior year was eliminated by an Arkansas team in both football and basketball. It was the MPSA back then.
