I'd say thats some pretty good production. 7-14 of that was attributed to their defense in most cases. They generated a TON of turnovers and points for them. Offensively they were okay, but benefitted from a bad region overall. This season, they could really, really special with 3 OL returning, their leading rusher, and some great athletes out wide. When you think about programs and programs with an excellent coach with a high winning percentage that hasn’t won a gold ball yet, this is the coach and program that you think of. Nothing is ever easy in 4A and it has to be earned. It would be almost foolish to pick against Louisville and with good reason, but I know Coach Beech is ready to put that old nagging load behind him.
