rebmus
Thanks to Dawg83 for getting this started. He mentioned last week he was hitting a busy time so I figured I'd keep it going. Mizzou at UGA- UGA favored by 39. Liberty at OM- OM favored by 9.5. Auburn at A&M- A&M favored by 4.5. MSU at Arkansas- Ark favored by 4.5. LSU at Bama- Bama favored by 28.5. UT at Kentucky- UT favored by 1. Florida at USC- FLA favored by 18. This non SEC game with a ranked team could be interesting: Wake Forest at North Carolina- UNC favored by 2.5. Ignoring the score predictions- I think you have almost all of those correct. The two out of your predictions: A&M is riding that Bama win which is fair. Auburn is questioned about that Georgia State struggle win, also fair. You have it close which I agree, I just can't guess who wins this one and sure wouldn't bet on it. I'm rooting for Wake Forest, but this one has a UNC win written all over it to me. Should be a great game- maybe even multiple OTs. I lean UNC pulls this win out. MSTSatchmo
Wake has been lighting it up. It should be an entertaining game. I just picked A&M because they’re at home, however State beat them at home so who knows.

Picking A&M at home makes the most sense. If I were forced to bet on a winner in this game, I'd go A&M for the same reason. It's also a game I wouldn't feel good about betting either way. I'm sure rooting for Wake Forest to go undefeated just to see what the CFB committee does if that happens (Same with Cincy).
MSTSatchmo
It would be interesting to have Bama beat UGA in the SECCG, and all the “big” schools have at least one loss with WF and Cincinnati undefeated.
Dawg83
Thanks for the assist, rebmus. State-Arkansas is really interesting to me. Winner has a pathway to an 8 win regular season. Arkansas hasn’t played a meaningful game in three weeks so not sure what to expect from them. State has shown signs of turning the corner but the concerns about inconsistency are still there. If State doesn’t shoot itself in the foot then I kinda think they are a better team, but it’s a little difficult to bank on State not shooting itself in the foot. I think I’ll take Arkansas in a close one at home, true toss-up though, and State can absolutely win. Maybe I’m off base but I think Ole Miss blows out Liberty. The Freeze thing is being talked up by some like it’s Mullen bringing Florida to Starkville in 2018, don’t feel like it’s remotely the same thing, and it’s been almost five years since he coached a game in Oxford. Willis is a good player and there’s some shootout potential here, just can’t see Liberty being able to stop Ole Miss very often. I like Auburn over A&M, still don’t totally trust Calzada. Don’t look now but Auburn controls their own destiny to win the West, and the Iron Bowl is at home where they’ve won 3 of the last 4 against Bama. I like Kentucky over Tennessee. UK had a weird game plan against State and I think they get back to running the ball effectively this week. Kinda surreal to see LSU as a four TD underdog to Bama, and for that game to not even get picked up by CBS. Don’t disagree with either of those things, though. Keep an eye on Michigan State at Purdue for an upset alert. Big letdown spot for Sparty after an emotional win last week. Oregon-Washington has some upset potential too. Just have not really impressed by Oregon since the Ohio State win.
Bulldogs4
83 agree with you on State-Arkansas. State is very capable of winning but we have not shown sustainability this year so it is kind of hard not go with Arkansas. We will see what happens. Ole Miss blows Liberty back to Virginia like an ole fashion cannon ball. Liberty may come out early and get a lead but it will quickly melt and be a 28+ point blow out. Auburn over A&M. They have played very well in recent weeks but (there is always a BUT) they may be due for a WTF game and in that case A&M will win. However, I hope that they play a perfect game and win. KY over UT just because they are a better team. UGA by a mile over Mizzou. Bama wins comfortably over LSWHO but I think they cover the spread. 28-30 points is a lot. Bama is still very good but this game may be bit more competitive than the pundits think. Purdue over Sparky is spot on. Pulling for WF, just good to see one of the little guys playing well. I think if WF and Cincinnati finish undefeated they are both in. UGA is in barring a total collapse. The other spot is up for grabs and quite a few teams have a shot right now. MSTSatchmo
How big of a lead does OM need to rest Corral? I think they should pull him if they’re go up by 20+.

Hopefully the game will go like it started... run the ball and score while the defense gets stops. Hopefully Corral won't be needed in the second half. IF Corral doesn't play the entire game, I'm curious if Altmyer gets snaps or does Plumlee come in to run the ball a lot and throw a little? Second drive by Ole Miss looked like doo doo. MSTSatchmo
If the WRs didn’t have the drops today it would be 21-
MSTSatchmo
Corral is obviously limping, but man is he putting the ball right on the money.
rebmus
Defense isn't great or anything, but nice showing in the first half. 24-0 and 7 sacks on Willis.
rebmus
Ole Miss looked pretty good in the first half, pretty bad in the second half. Wins are wins, I'll hold my nose and take it.
MSTSatchmo
As long as there were no injuries, it’s a decent practice. Lol. WF had a 45-27 lead on UNC, and now it’s 48 all in the 4th.

Bulldogs4
Terrible first half by State. Arky should be up big but we are only down 6. Still don’t feel good about actually winning this game but at least we have a chance now.
rebmus
14-13 State now. This game has a lot of potential to be another one of these down to the last play games. Weird stat of the game so far- Jefferson has completed EVERY pass, but has only thrown 6 passes so far (now in the 3rd quarter). I would think they'd air it out some more in the second half? rebmus
A&M beat Auburn 20-3, I expected a much closer score. TCU is leading #12 Baylor 30-28 with 2 minutes left.
rebmus
TCU held on to beat Baylor. UT with the early lead on Kentucky- another upset brewing today? This MSU/Arkansas game has been really fun to watch.
rebmus
Good grief what a game. MSU had a clutch drive to take the lead late. Arkansas responded with a clutch drive. MSU, down by 3, drove the ball back with 41 seconds and had a chance to tie but missed the danged field goal. I was hoping for OT. Hopefully UT/KY will turn out to be a great game to watch like this one.
