NoWammies Posted October 21, 2023 Share Posted October 21, 2023 I remember going into the playoffs last year EBF was adamant that Enterprise wouldn’t lose to Magee because it was a home game and Enterprise was a different team at home. Break down what South Pike does defensively and offensively. Which games did you watch of South Pike’s? My guess is you’re just going off scores as usual without actually have seen South Pike play a down. Also, let’s not forget in one of those games you mention above which was on the road there was a running clock going in the 2nd quarter. Both teams are run first and neither passes the ball much; they have a small athletic QB like we do; they have one really good RB and a few others that are decent; I have watched some videos of South Pike; we wont face a big tall QB like we have the past two weeks' and with SP we wont have to worry about a passing game or quick WRs; South Pike runs the majority of the time which suits us. Our offense as definitely improved; we are not going three and out on every drive; against Noxubee on our first drive we drove to Noxubee's 14 yard line and in the 2nd qrt we drove to Noxubee's 5 yard line and probably would have scored if not for a questionable fumble call..This team is better than the team Enterprise was in early mid-September.
