EnterpriseBulldogsFan Posted October 14, 2023 Share Posted October 14, 2023 Enterprise hosts Kemper Co in our final regular season game; Enterprise is coming off a tough loss to Noxubee Co; playing Noxubee was good for Enterprise because they are similar to Kemper; Enterprise can still win the district if we beat Kemper by 12 points or more and we can clinch a # 2 seed just by beating Kemper. EnterpriseBulldogsFan Posted October 14, 2023 Author Share Posted October 14, 2023 Noxubee is better than Kemper even though Kemper beat them; and playing Noxubee was beneficial for Enterprise because the two teams are very similar; both have big athletic QBs big linemen and athletes; Enterprise should play better at home and have a chance to pull off a victory. NoWammies Posted October 15, 2023 Share Posted October 15, 2023 If Enterprise DB’s continue playing 15 yards off the WR’s and then backpedaling as soon as the ball is snapped this game will be ugly too. Noxubee took advantage of it hitting some quick routes and then turning 5 yard plays into 50+ yard plays because of the speed difference. I might be missing something but this seems wrong. If y’all were to be awarded the -12 by blowing out Kemper then that would put y’all at 0. Noxubee is currently at -10 so they’ll clinch 1 seed. Also y’all have to beat Kemper by -7 or more cuz that would put you both at +5 and y’all would win tiebreaker based off head to head. So to my knowledge if I understand the tie breaking scenario correctly Enterprise has no mathematical shot at the 1 seed unless Noxubee were to be upset during last two games. Enterprise is capable of upsetting south pike, but it’s not likely. Their coaching staff should be commended for having the season they have had, especially without Sims. Enterprise is not the team we were in early/mid September; playing big fast athletic teams like Kemper and Noxubee has helped Enterprise; nobody in Region 7 is as good as Kemper and Noxubee; Enterprise should roll.
