Cleveland Central has seemed to hit a wall losing the last 2 out of 3 that they need to recover from. I think any of these could come out of the North, Clarksdale, Holmes, Cleveland, West Point, Pontotoc, and Lafayette. Could Provine be competitive in the south, Laurel, Wayne County, Gautier, Florence. The pre season favorites haven't been very consistently so I think everything is wide open. I will say that WC played the #1 team in the state OG. The #1 team in 6A WJ also a really good George County team non region. I know Laurel also played a tough non region schedule. NoWammies Posted October 16, 2023 Share Posted October 16, 2023 I watched the West Point/Clarksdale game this morning and one thing I noticed was missed tackles by West Point that resulted in big plays that mattered. Clean those up and they should be fine. One that really stuck out was the bubble screen that the WR scored Clarksdale’s 2nd TD on from about 55 yards out.
