This trend of moving football games because of rain has just become a thing within the past 5yrs or so. The weather usually isn’t ideal during that time but for as long as I can remember games were still played in it. Even if it does rain, it’s still suppose to be 72/50 for high/low. That’s football weather. I worked a 12 hour shift just south of Chicago last week in freezing rain, snow, 30 mph winds and was 8 degrees. 70 degrees with 50% chance of rain sounds like paradise.
