s1nglewing
From Catholic League Sports: "J.T. Curtis of John Curtis Christian has 615 career wins. The total puts Curtis just six wins away from breaking the all-time record of Summerville (S.C.) legend John McKissick." John Curtis Christian runs the Split Back Veer. Runs and runs and runs it. A friend of mine says "Isn’t that something ? They been running that old school offense for 5 decades now at the highest level . You not supposed to win unless you spread them out and let your athletes work in space …lol." It's the coaching, y'all. And it helps to have the horses.
NoWammies
My cousin played for John Curtis from 2012-2015 and won two state championships with them but the 2013 was taken away. Was cool during that time because I had another cousin playing for Evangel out of Shreveport and they played each other for the 2012 state championship. Being originally from LA and still someone who keeps up with what goes on in the state, I’ve always been a fan of the school.

Poundtherock
More about the Jimmys and Joes. You can pretty much run whatever offense if you have the dudes. Good coaches get their team prepared. When Fri night comes, you better have some dudes

If I'm doing my math correctly this should be the year, shouldn't it?

If Poundtherock is correct then we’ll def see as far as Mancuso is concerned because Winona and Noxubee County certainly have the Jimmy and Joe’s while Jefferson Davis County isn’t a favorite to win it all. Which is probably where Mancuso wants to be. Flying below the radar is the key there.
Poundtherock
From what I’m gathering JDC is replacing basically the whole offensive and defensive lines. Should be good at the skill positions but will have to have some guys step up on the line. Could see them experiencing some growing pains early on with the loaded schedule. . I have to backtrack on my jimmy and Joe statement. I got reminded today that in 13 when we lost to Prep we had Jimmy, Joe and all their first cousins. 3 still on NFL roster. 2 others spent time on NFL prac squad and 1 that’s on a CFL roster. At least 2 more D1s and prob a couple jucos and still lost.
